How It Works
Lot and Plan Selection
Starting this exciting journey is understanding what and where you would like to build.
We can provide potential homeowners with information on communities, home sites, floor plans, exterior details, interior design features, special amenities. Bring your own house plan and lot or allow Coastal Living Homes, LLC to help you find that desired location. We can help you select the home you want and the land on which to build.
If you need help with construction-to-permanent financing, we can help put you in touch with our preferred lenders to seek this first step.
Prior to the start of construction, we will schedule a pre-construction meeting.
We will review the home plan, design features, personalized changes and make additional changes if desired.
Breaking ground is a momentous first step in the construction process and marks the beginning of your dream home.
We’ll maintain regular updates and walkthroughs with you to allow you an opportunity to see the progress. During the 6 month construction phase, progress photos are provided to share on social media with friends and family and to keep you apprised of the general progress on your home, from groundbreaking to the final walkthrough.
Approximately one month before the estimated turnover of the home, we will schedule two homeowner walk-throughs.
We will do a thorough inspection before the first walk-through to identify any minor details needing completion. Several days later we will conduct a final walk-through/homeowner orientation meeting.
At the orientation meeting, we welcome the homeowners to their new home by giving a thorough orientation of the home. Once the orientation is complete and all questions are answered, the homeowners receive the keys to their new home.
